View ProfileResearch & Observation Team
Data collection is conducted by a dual-layer team, ensuring both pedagogical sensitivity and technical accuracy.
Embedded Research Fellows (AMI)
Who They Are
AMI-Certified Pedagogues.
Observation Focus
Developmental & Behavioral Data.
Function
They're the child's regular teacher, not a stranger with a clipboard. Children behave naturally because observation is invisible. The guide records observations during lunch or after school, never during work cycles.
Research Associates (Subject Experts)
Who They Are
Engineers, Data Scientists, and Domain Specialists.
Observation Focus
Performance & Competency Data.
Function
These experts conduct focused observations within the Innovation Labs. They track "External Output"—measuring engineering fidelity, failure recovery rates, and technical precision during high-stakes prototyping (e.g., Drone flight tests).
Research Associates
Engineers, data scientists, and domain specialists who conduct focused observations and technical validation within the Innovation Labs.
Research Associate – Aerospace Systems
Aerospace Systems Associate
Domain: Aerospace Engineering & Flight Systems
Focuses on flight qualification protocols, payload integration testing, and mission-critical systems validation. Supports the Space Lab's TRL assessment pipeline and contributes to vibration and thermal test documentation.
Research Associate – Autonomous Systems
Autonomous Systems Associate
Domain: Robotics & Autonomous Navigation
Conducts performance analytics on drone prototypes and autonomous delivery systems. Validates sensor fusion accuracy, path-planning algorithms, and failure recovery rates during field testing.
Research Associate – Data Science
Data & Longitudinal Analysis Associate
Domain: Statistical Analysis & Dataset Architecture
Manages the longitudinal data pipeline from raw observation records to anonymized publishable datasets. Maintains K-anonymity standards and coordinates DOI assignment through Zenodo.
Research Cohorts – Student Researchers
Students who transition from learning about innovation to producing it. They design functional prototypes under real-world engineering constraints — not simulations.
Student Researchers (Ages 12–16)
Adolescent Research Cohort
Students who transition from learning about innovation to producing it. They design functional prototypes under real-world engineering constraints — not simulations.
